I spent quite a lot of time reading Sajha posting. After February 1 st , people have quite interesting views. Most of them are Anti-king, pro democratic, and of course, pro-king statement and views also exist, which is perhaps the mostly covered issue by means of poetry, articles and discussion notes. We have many ideas as pros and cons to Royal move. Then, why shouldn't we have online voting to say Yes or No to King (monarchy). Let us give us once a chance to think on virtual people's sovereignty of Nepal . With this reference, I got a strange to have e-referendum on this SAJHA.COM, whereas it is not possible on nepalnews.com, kantipuronline.com and/or Himal media, which are the most visited online media of Nepal . Though, this is not the appropriate solution for a poll, but can be interesting if we genuinely follow the following ethical codes to express our vote on this thread. The code of conduct: - Please reply to this thread with yes or no only. Do not include any comments on your yes or no statement. If you like to place your comments, please insert separately on this thread, i.e. not with yes or no response.
- Avoid arguing or quarrel each other in this thread. Please do not induce any personal attacks and simply respecting the SAJHA disclaimers: ? WE EXPECT THAT YOU WILL USE CAUTION AND COMMON SENSE AND EXERCISE PROPER JUDGMENT WHEN POSTING TO OR VIEWING KURAKANI. ?
- If you do not like to cast your vote to this thread, please do not contribute unnecessary stuff.
- The statistics of this voting corner will be valid or at least taken for conclusion till 25 th of June, if not deleted by Admin.
- Please do not cast your vote more than once with the same nickname. This will not be counted. However, you can provide multiple comments if you think are relevant for the e-referendum corner.
- Let us show, we Nepalese believe on ultimate democracy. Let us also prove that we can be serious in the matter of the future of our country and we Nepalese can be fair in political options than ?Lide Dhippi?. And respect any democratic process.
- Follow the subsequent sample examples after this posting.
All the best! We have the choice for our country, but neither the king nor Maoists, nor any individual; provided that we have ideal democracy like this, at least full fledge e-Governance.

of course yes, I believe that there are 3 major, "powers" in nepal, king, maoist and the political parties. in these 13 yeard of democracy we have seen violence for almost 10 years, and whom should we blame? but to ruthless, corrupted political parites and about the maoists, they have been mercilessly killing innocent people, do you all want either of these rulers in Nepal? in my opinion, this king should be given a chance, like we did to these political parites. lets wait for sometime see what he will do.

Summary of Day1 e-Voting on Refredum to yes or No to King and Monarchy: Yes: 5 No:: 7 Comments We always have various comments and discussion about freedom, peace and democracy in Nepal. But in reality, when we have a chance to say or express our voices, then we step back. Comeon friends: lets heat up this threards. I know this virtual referendum won't result in any significant political changes in Nepal, but will, if not undermined, definitely represent voice of the actively participating concerned Nepalese. M>any of you who are viewing this threads as a guest, I encourage you to join Sajha.com to voice in this threads. Lets prove our rationality, at least in a virtual democratic environment. If England could do referendum on its monarchy, why not we? At least lets entertain our right on the Net

This is not even diplomatic. The vote is for present and not for the future. We, in different state, cast different ideas, right? I might change my opinion (voting mentality) even when I entered inside the voting booth. Therefore, whatever I opt now is the right one. Because no body knows what their opinion will be even after a week. Do you agree?
