what does a&m stand for? is it agriculture and mining or agriculture and mechanical?

I heard it is close to Mexico.....is that an advantage or disadvantage??

Well, being close to Mexico doesn't matter for the academic environment. But. in my experience, the influences will be in overall life. I have found that crime rate is really high in bordering cities (as I do study in one of the UC campus close to border, not very close but still have lots of hispanic communties around).

Does that mean its unsafe??
