I don't see any reason for smoking cigarette . It crackes me up when some people makes excuse for smoking cigarette. Eg (tension, tragedy, bla bla bla) ................ .. Well, i will rather spend money on something useful then spend on cigarette. Just imagine smokers, if you save the amount of money you spend on cigarette , you can't believe how much money you will spend in a month time.. so, save those money and to something productive instead of killing ur health..

That is just cost of cigarette. If you include other expenses that comes with smoking in the picture, the expenses can run upto $5000 per year. Expenses like health insurance, medical expenses for smoking related diseases, house insurance if you have one, auto cleaning if you smoke in your car... expenses like that can cost you more than just a pack of cigarette.

there is no doubt mentioning that smoking Cigarette is injurious. BUt hey!!! people tend to try things which are labeled as harmful or illigal. Your article definetely seems logical from all aspect but one thing is universal, that by all means people still r selling it and are getting high on dope and shit....

Just a follow up on nepozin'z answer.. Well..It is true people tends to try those stuff which are labelled harmful and illegal. But why try those , if you know for sure that product is not going to help you for anything except loosing amount of your pocket money.
I also agree, that company are selling those product but one should know ,In every cigarette there is warning saying "its not good for health". And regarding getting high in dope , why people cannot limit their cigarette to some number. Nothing personal nepozin but i will say that "One who cannot control their cigeratte ends up being a chain smoker and later on , in future will definitely suffer from back ache.

Seems like none of the smokers has replied yet to CID dai's little curiosity about big thing called smoking. So here I am, CID dil pe matt le yaar but I appreciate your point of view on why one shouldn't smoke. Here are some of the points on why I think I shouldn't quit.

I understand smoking is bad for health and what not, but tell me one thing, what is not bad for your health? Hariyo saag sabji? Okay, beside Hariyo Saag sabji and fresh fruits, what is not bad for your health? Salt is not bad for your health? Sugar is not bad for your health? McDonalds is not bad for your health? Crack/coke is not bad for your health? Alcohol is not bad for your health? Rice is not bad for your health? Momo in everest momo center is not bad for your health? Even natural water has risk factor associated to it. So here I am, busting every vital organ in my body. What's the sense of having great lungs when you can die of busted heart (thanks to oily food), busted pancreas (thanks to sugar and rice), busted head (thanks to drugs), busted liver (thanks to alcohol), busted kidney and what not. My point is, either you try to save all those vital organs till the day you die or don't just worry about just the poor old lungs. There are other organs that might fail too.

So here is the reason why I smoke. I work hard, bust my butt till I get my hard earn pay and I don't spend it on hookers or drugs or alcohol, so I smoke. In the other words, I spend "my money" for simple pleasure that I get from smoking. Now, don't ask me what's the pleasure in sucking the smoke.

There are no excuses for my smoking. Why do you put salt in your food? For a pleasure to your tongue. I put a cigarette between my lips for a simple pleasure to my mind. Simple. And what's wrong in pullin' out some money to buy a cigarette from the money I spend on useful things. Can you survive on boilded food and spend the money you spend on vegetable oils to other useful things? Don't you pull out some money to buy a vegetable oil out of the money you spend on useful things? Aba don't talk about how much money I'd have saved quittin' cigarettes. It's same as how much money I spend on other stuffs for my simple pleasure. After all I've got is one life, short life, and I wanna live life to the fullest and die young, without bothering about failure of vital organs. :)

(Don't Listen to me... Just tryin' to get on your nerves early in the morning... hehe... nasty cold and freezin' weather and wee hour of the morning make even a coolest man grumpy. And I am born grumpy. :D)

Yup yup, Cigratte in my hand... i FELT like a man.

But that was YRssssssssss ago when i was in school, and u try to imitate all the big guys, or so called kewl guys... thus i started young. Real young. :(

But now... I would like to STOP. But can not. I did stop for more than a year, and that was more than 5 yrs ago :(. But feri "kusangat" ta nabhanau, afnai anekau daya baya khane bhayera feri khaiyo. What i need is a genuine suggestion. Shall i try pills? Nahhh, its nasty (re hai feri :p), and besides its a ladies thing ;), ummmmm shall i quit drinking? These days i i only drink on weekends, can't take that lil pleasure from mah life:). Ummmmm... pathches... does it really work? Attend some motivation group? Nahh waste of tyam:P.

The only solution i can think of is, put bullet right through mah head:(. Or perhaps we need maoist all around the world threatning these cig companies to stop producing ciggies. Then again, what would they smoke. Hmmmmmmmmm .

Whatever it is, like someone rightly said, " Life is like a cigarette, and we all shall turn to ashes someday". So me thinks, why fight the inevitable?:)

I dont know why but ...everytime i saw a man smoking i kinda thought he was weak...and was a complete turn off for me. It was like he needs a stick within his fingers to prove something....or is it just cause he is always nervous or is it just an addiction....well whatever not my business...live the way you want. ; )
