redstone bro, thanks for the new thread :) here's the result from week 17..... congratulation to Carnell Williams, he got 63% of his prediction right (150 games minimum) He must be happy camper, Auburn Tigers won the game last nite, didn't get to see whole game, but they surely looked good. It's disappointed to finish season 13-0 in SEC and not to get the share of Championship. USC and Sooners tonite. It seems both teams are evenly matched. Both teams have many NFL bound players. Bush (USC) and Peterson (sooners) are players to watch. It's amazing that the last two Heisman winners White and Leinart are not the focus of the game becuase of those talented backs. As being Huskers and Big 12 fan, I want OU to lift the championship trophy. My prediction Sooner 24 - Trojans 20

Thanks AX. But I feel that since I started my prediction only from the 3 rd week of the season, you and rest of the folks are more deserving winners. Thanks one more time regardless. Yes, I am more than happy that Auburn is Sugar Bowl Champion. Like I said few weeks ago that if Auburn wins the Sugar Bowl, I will never concede that the winner of the Orange Bowl as a true National Champion. So I am staying put and so are other fanatic Auburn fans. We are National Champion on our own right simply because nobody could beat us and we beat everyone our way up. Who cares about bias system. They can rave and rant about over-hyped Orange Bowl Champion. Like Jason Campbell said "First they said Auburn would be in NC game if they beat number 8 Georgia which they did back in november. Then it became beat Alamaba, they did. Then they said beat Tennessee in SEC CG, that they did it too. It seems like they have an excuse for Auburn not to have in Orange Bowl no matter what the Tigers do." And that's what happened. We will never know the true National Champion for the 2004 season as everytime they talk about National Champion of 2004; Auburn's name will be there too...13-0 ..Undefeated SEC champ..blah blah blah. But it was a great season for Awesome Tigers...I am proud to say that big Blue and Orange runs in my veins. I would like to see USC win the Championship just because they beat Auburn in 2003 season and they earned my respect since then. Yes, both USC and Oklahoma are evenly matched and equally hyped with star QB's and stud Backs. I believe it would be USC's defense Vs. Ok's offense. We will know tonight. Till Then War Eagle!!!

Congratualtion SC (Super Club) and fans. They won back to back championship; the last team to do so was Cornhuskers during 94-95. Trojans manhandled the Sooners in every position. Trojans seems to be men amongst the boyz. Leinart was on fire, he had many open targets each time to throw to. He threw orange bowl record setting 5 TD. Hands down to offense genius Norm Chow and defense wiz Pete Carroll. I have only seen few Trojans game before last nite and I was not that impressed. After watching their game agiants Cal, UCLA and Oregon State (???) I thought Sooners will beat them. I surely was dead wrong, Pete Carroll and his boyz were fully prepared for the game. Trojans seemed more like a pro team, I am sure San Francisco 49ers (most prolly Leinart?s next team) would have hard time competing with these college kids. I have never so many talented players in one College team, most of them will be playing on Sundays - QB, RB, all purpose player, Defensive end, Tight End, Receiver, Safety, you name it. If Leinart doesn?t return to college, he will be the 1st QB chosen on next draft day, RB White was running as his will, Reggie Bush was all over the field, never seen a Tight End with great hand like Byrd (he is better than overrated pro TEs from Shockey and Winslow). Sorry Carnell Williams bro, I know your team Tigers had awesome 13-0 season, but USC is the true champion. If they were to play again this year, I am sure the score would be the same like last year 23 - ZIPPO. Congratulation Yatree bro (the only USC fan who I know visits this site). Your team rocks. They have a great chance of three peat next season. ********************************************************************** Norm Chow deserves head coach job. I think parting Chow and Carroll is the only way USC is going to lose a game. I am sure Stanford is regretting now for not hiring him. This is a high time for an Asian American coach like Norm Chow to get a chance. Steve young, Ty Detmer, Carlson Palmer, Philip Rivers, and now Matt Leinart, what else does he need to prove you fools?

I do not not believe in taunting but can't help it.:). All I have to say about Chokelohoma or Jokelohoma is that they are O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D. And I have been saying that all season long. It is good that Bob Stoops bitched about Auburn being number 2 in AP back in November. I am so happy that he is eating his words. How many times OK's going to be humiliated in the National TV. Like I said few weeks ago Matt Leinart will feast on OK's secondary all night long and that's what happened. Folks, Ok's defense was average this season. C'mon be real, the team with that medicore defense that barely got away with cowboys and Aggies, would stand no chance against one of the top defense. I know Big 12 is great conference but within itself only. Actually it should name itself as Big 2. About Auburn would have been washed 23-0 by USC, I beg to differ. That was in 2003 season and this is whole new different Auburn team. And your opinion is as fictitious as Oklahoma being number 2 all season long. How could you forget that Auburn has number one secondary in the nation and number one scoring defense. This is what the top ten teams scored against Auburn this season: 9, 10, 6,13 by LSU, Tennessee, Georgia and Va Tech repectively. I am not saying Auburn would surely win against USC if two had played but USC can not score against Auburn like they did against Oklohoma. It would have been a brawl if USC-Auburn would have played and who ever could run the ball would have won. With All American defensive backs in Carlos Rogers and Junior Rosegreen I just can not see USC would be able to throw the ball like they did against OK. I am glad that Oklohoma got what they deserved. They were never a NC calibre team and they were all hype. It will be also a big lesson for poll voters that just because a team starts the season at number 2 does not mean that they are worthy of NC game. For an Auburn fanatics like me, we are proud of our 13-0 season and we know we deserved to be in NC game. Great season it was and will be remembered for a long time. SEC will be back in full force next year with Florida, LSU and Tennesse. For Auburn it will be a rebuilding season as they will lose their star QB and both running backs. But I think they will still have 9-2 season as they will have all their recieving corps intact. Ditto for Georgia. I would be watching keenly on USC(south carolina) with supperior at the helm. War Eagle!!

This is the time to know what kinda of Quarterback Peyton Manning is. He was 0-4 (?) against Florida Gators in his college days while with Vols and 0-6 against the NE Patriots as a pro. Manning is his the best season as a QB could have. It will be interesting to watch his performance in this game. If COLTS win, Manning will be remember QB having the great season else he is just a stat monster who you like to have in your fantasy game. I picked Colts to win the Superbowl before season I and I stick with it. It's a game to watch - Manning's no huddle offense vs Defense wiz Bill Belechik led defense...... Will Pats have enuf people to cover Clark, Wayne, James, Harrison, Stokley, and Pollard and blitz Manning?
