I recently got married in nepal and filed paperwork on behalf of my husband for greencard, he sold little bit of his property and wants to invest in business in USA around 300k , wire transfer is expensive is their a cheaper way for him to bring into USA for investment , we are keeping wire transfer as a last option.

We have everything worked out ,it’s not like old days anymore, just curious if you guys can suggest any other methods except for Hundi, we are only looking for legal ways as it is for business investment.

If you are willing to take all the risks it is I M possible. I know a guy from Texas who tried to bring all his black money from Nepal to US. IRS seized it, he got 6 months time on a detention center and now he is a homeless. Good luck!

As far as I know, you can ONLY bring money from Nepal to USA for your study expenses or for your health treatment.
There should be no ways to bring money to USA from Nepal legally for investment.
Please educated us how you are bringing. A lot of people are looking to bring money to USA from Nepal.

Fact: No nepali citizen can invest in foreign business from the money earned generated from Nepal source. Only educational and health care related money is allowed to bring here.

Lol America doesnt have problems bringing the money if you pay jrs and show proof of legal source, it's the Nepali govt that doesnt allow to take money out of Nepal,lol. If you find a bank that will transfer 300k from Nepal to your bank in the USA please share.

From Nepal's perspective this marriage cost Nepal 300k dollars ,that's like 30 Nepali villagers work in Qatar for 10 years to bring in that dollar. Naya Buhari k aaye ghar bagga sabai lagi jasto po bhayo ta ..sorry

She told ppl to google it because she probably did like 20 mins google research on how to transfer money often distracted by facebook and Instagram and found out about bank wire, what she forgot is the Nepali give does not allow to just take money like that out of the country. She sounded not so helpful but the truth is she also had incomplete knowledge about money transfer

Not possible to bring cash outside of Nepal. I sent roughly $450K to Nepal last year to buy some property. However, it only required $350K. So, i have $100K sitting in Nabil Bank idle. I wanted to bring that money back to the US so that i could throw it into some mutual funds. But no luck. Unless Ruby has the blessings of some big politicians, I'm not sure how that can be done. So for now, Ruby, I'd say let that money stay there in Nepal. Buy some real estate, it will give you good returns down the road.
