It seems you are just ranting here after failing on some deals with them. You were involved too. Why didn't you call authority about underage drinking party that time? Also I don't think any girls were exploited by the event . Having living in US they know what they were into. And any future contestants know what they are signing into. What were you expecting in Nepalese program here at US. Quit bit*ching and live your life. You are lamenting because you were idiot involving into that program. Don't make it like you were in exploited.

 Ok i just saw these being shared and i have to say Ms. Sarah Gurung you are one of the most disgusting person i have ever met. I was a contestant last year too.. Yes there were mistakes but not what like you posted here.. So bascially Sarah you created a new account  in sajha just to say all this.. this is how low you gotten.. You are the one was was drunk and smoked weed in your room every single day... Let me tell you the story of what happened last year as a contestant.. 

IN NEW YORK WE WERE EAGERLY WAITING FOR YOU TO COME BECAUSE WE WERE GETTING LATE TO GO TO BALTIMORE. WE WAITED AND WAITED.. IN THE END YOU SHOWED UP DRUNK AS HELL .. BECAUSE OF YOU WE COULDNT SLEEP ON TIME AND WERENT WELL RESTED

I PERSONALLY SAW YOU SMOKING WEED WITH THREE OTHER GUYS IN YOUR ROOM. OH YA YOU ARE MARRIED AND SMOKING WEED WITH THREE GUYS IN THE ROOM !!!

EVEN DURING THE EVENT YOU WERE THE ONE WHO TOLD THE MC TO COME LATE BECAUSE QUOTE "NEPALI PARTY HO SHOW TIME MA SURU HUDAINA" BECAUSE OF YOU THE WHOLE SHOW STARTED LATE.. 

YOU DONT HAVE ANY RIGHTS TO SIGN THIS LETTER AND BY NOW ITS BEEN CLEAR THAT YOU ARE THE ONE BEHIND THIS POST... GO GET A LIFE B*****

I have never personally attended Miss Nepal USA but I heard some stories about last year's Miss Nepal USA event. If it is a true story then I hope this year's event will be more organized and transparent. My friend ( who participated last year) told me that they were forced to raise funds. Just imagine a student who can barely afford her tuition has another fundraising task. 
My suggestions:
a) start the programme on time ( so that you don't have to rush at the end )
b) be more transparent on about the selection criteria
c) provide participants with good food ( heard that they had to go for hours without eating) and 
Last but not the least,
d) arrange cab/rides to contestants to airport after the event

Please forgive me if I forgot to mention any other importnat topics and you can always add other suggestions......

Khairey and Simpegirl, your comments showed that Sarah is speaking truth. You guys chose to attack her personally. I saw a long thread from the last year's show from the past contestants. Why can't you say that you'll try to make it better this year instead of attacking her personally. Are you the organizers of the shows? Your comments tell you don't deny any of her accusations, do you?

If you see wrongdoings, you need to file a COMPLAINT. Here is the nice article I was thinking of sharing in Sajha. When these nepricans living here in US come down to personal attacks, I applaud those who have the courage to file complaints and write against the powerful ones iin Nepal.

 Simplegirl - Can you just tell us which last year ko contestant are you ?

So, as I walking down the boulevard of the dreams (pavement to work places), someone come from nowhere and throw me a ping pong ball. I looking for my puny bat, and I think I forgetting at home. So, I taking the small-y ball in my hand, and throwing back to the someone. He taking the balls in his hands, then some one telling with me with much hate,"Oye, why you throw it back?", and i telling him," If you throwing me the ball when i no have bat, what I am going to throw back it with?"
"You keeping it with you, nincompoop!!" is what someone telling me and go away with the ball. I standing there, no ball and late to my work by 10 mins. Baal baal i was not firing the boss.
Moral of the story: my poor attempt at humour with nothing good or new to telling, LOL!!

I just know one thing happened unusual last year. Gauri malla quit from judge panel due to unfair judgements. It is said that winners were decided before event. I know one participants from last year and she is well known "cheap character " girl in society, so for me this whole thing is lame.

Some fools don't understand that this letter is written on the behalf of contestants, gaurdians and choreographer.. I don't understand why everybody pointing a finger just on Sarah Gurung. And this particular person claiming to be last year's contestant must have been high or might be she got exceptional treatments than others and thats why using offensive language ....well....it is indeed a big scam.

First of all i don't even think that u r the ex participants of miss nepal usa 2012 because if u had followed earlier post on sajha than u will find most of the participants of MNU 2012 were posting about every detailed that matched with miss sarah gurung. N few of the participants were also trying to sue miss nepal usa team but the team threatned them. 

 i also attended 2012 beauty peagents grand finale. It was a total CRAP. I heard that girls were literally pulled from dressing room by some guys because of lack of time. U can see those in the video too. U guys need to learn too protect girls privacy. 

I do wanna say something, i think miss sarah gurung was right that they let one married girl to participant in the event. There is no rulles, they jus care about money. There was also one participants in 2011 who gave the false date of birth. instead of 1988, she wrote 1989 according to their law, "any false information provided by myself in application form will result in the loss of my participation in Miss Nepal US Pageant".I don't whether the organizing team know about that or not but i saw on her driver license.But i think its there duty to verify each n every information provided by participants. I think they jus want money.
 Another thing This is one of their rule "I agree that from the date application, until a period of Grand Final, and/or for a period of one year after my reign as finalist and titleholder ends, we will not, without the prior permission in writing from the organizers, make any statement to the media, either directly or indirectly, nor give any interviews nor write any stories whatsoever appertaining to the competition or involving its name." i think this is totally wrong. They should allow everybody to share their views. If they don't like it that they can say that. Participants had spent their hard earn money and time to participate in this peagent. They should given their freedom of speech.

Again, to Miss nepal team- Instead of feeling sorry about what u have done last year u guys were promoting as a successful and best show of the year. SHAME ON YOU. 
AND last, simple girl- U cannot attack some one personally like that. I don think there is anything wrong about drinking beer with man eventhough they are married.
PERSONALLY I THINK WE SHOULD DISCOURAGED THIS MISS NEPAL USA BECAUSE  IN NAME OF PROMOTING NEPAL AND NEPALI CULTURE THEY ARE JUST INSULTING US.

Yeah it's absolutely high time somebody put a FULL STOP on this scam that preys upon those naive twenty-somethings and teeenagers.

A woman doesn't need to win a beauty pageant to become a worthy daughter, a kind wife, a loving mother, or a contributing member of a society.

Beauty lies within a woman; it does not need any sort of superficial validation by a bunch of so-called "judges" who barely know you in person.  The genuine beauty in every woman awaits to be discovered by a suitable person who will share life with her in happiness and in misery.

Dear aspiring participants and attendies,
Think about it by being completely sincere to yourself and life will treat you well in return.

Original poster might have deleted the post. He/she might have a new deal with organizer after this thread popped up in Sajha. So you might see a new thread later on that how big this year event will be and how hard everyone is working together to make it successful. Simple girl could be participating again. And once again Facebook will fill up with all Nepalese goddesses asking for a vote.
After that some one replaced by Sahara Gurung will pop here again with some new controversy. This is how these things keep moving.

 Again the deadline of miss nepal usa was july 15 they added 3 days because they didn't get enough contestants. N every team member were advertising as last Call hahahhahaha. They told that they will select only 20 contestants from all the participants for finale but i can only see 16 participants in their website soooo where are others 4 participants MISS NEPAL USA TEAM. Why don't u tell the truth that u didn't get more than 16 girls. SHAME ON U ALL THE TEAM MEMBERS. U GUYS ARE ONLY HERE TO EARN MONEY EASILY.

An aspiring-Miss-USA-Nepal and her US$ 1000 ( NRs 94,940) are soon parted.
