How are these places to spend couple days? Heard some rumors there might be problem for F1 .. Any experience..?any alternatives for these places around tx?

I went to south padre island ... It was awsome freaky girls but be careful dont forget to take your passport with valid visa and valid i-20 ..... Because when you come back you will have port of enrty to face ...... I was glad that i heard some rumers and took my passport but if you dont take Anything they will take you to jail right there untill they verify everything is right and you are legal in usa ...... It might take even days ...... And dont take ur gf with u .... I got lotta fineass chicks at club my nepali gf was by my side i couldnt do anything lol........

i totally agree with rajeshdai..its a great place for vacation lots of adventures..and yah lot of hot gals walking on bikinis all day long wherever u go..better dnt take your gf(like i did)..get ur passport and i-20 they will pull u by side and check all ur documents. have fun

Charlie bro ... It's really a very good place for the vacation specially Friday N Saturday night. Just get back home after a 4 nights camping out there. Had loads of fun...... I also heard about F1 students problem from few friends and even from UTA International office. These are all bull shit. There is not a even one single check post out there. champ bro khoi kun bato bata gayau ra farkiyau but when u are returning back then there is a boarder check point on US 77 which is on TX. we went there last week and had to go through check they ask u if u are a citizen or no? if not then u better have your all documents ready. It is just an suggestion what i experienced.

Corpus Christi is just another city in Texas.Don't expect much. But there are two places "padre island national seashore" & "south padre island".  Padre island national seashore is about 45 minutes from Corpus Christi (but a very weak cellphone signal place). It costs about 10 dollars to enter. I have not been to South Padre Island (which seems to be a fun beach) but Padre Island is "very beautiful" and "almost virgin" beaches. If you have got 4WD you can drive on the shore & go to South Padre Island (what an adventure). (Don't try with your car), you can play in sand dunes too. Evening is the best time to be there. NO Visa issue at all. If you go to South Padre Isalnd on right time there will be another kind of fun as mentioned by others.

I dont kno which south padre island this chapm went to but whereever i went had nice beach and nice b-i-t-ches ...... And when u come back u will have a gate to face and process goes just like smaran told u ..... Thanks

Guys thank you for all your concerns here. It's really good topic to share. Even before I was scared to travel there ( Coz need to face immigration issue ). But not at all. Before we leave we make sure everything with the state park office and Homeland Security no such type of big deal. It's in Texas dude not in Mexico. We went to Brazos Island State Park. It's in Boca Chica Blvd Brownsville TX. We went through Austin,San Antonio which is I-35 then take I-37 from there Hwy 359 , US 77 on which we have to cross Brownsville / South Padre Island International Airport. Then finally we take Hwy-4 which is Boca Chica Blvd. Really nice place to visit. No check point at all. Ofcourse you will see bunch of Home land Security officer vehicle. But we didn't faced anyproblem. No check point nothing. Even on the State Park Guest Book I did sign my name in Nepali and put Champ on side for all you Sajha Users. So have fun guys do not take your GF, if you wanna have some good experience. Enjoy the last week of summer. That gonna be a good back to school party for you. Cheers :)
