GUYS, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE FUN OF THIS AND PLEASE PROVIDE GOOD SUGGESTIONS. I AM GOING TO NEPAL IN SUMMER AND AFTER RETURNING FROM NEPAL I WANT TO FILE ASYLUM SHOWING ANY FAKE REASON LIKE MAOISTS. I AM NOT ABLE TO FIND ANY OTHER GOOD REASON THAN MAOIST-PIDIT. SO, WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS WHAT KIND OF DOCUMENTS DO I NEED FOR THAT? DO I HAVE TO TRANSLATE THOSE DOCUMENTS INTO ENGLISH IN NEPAL; IF SO THEN FROM WHERE? APART FROM THESE, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK?

IF possible, hire a cheap reporter; published a story that you've been sexually assaulted and attacked; and bring the newspaper in ENGLISH with you.
By the time when you're back in US; all current illegal Nepalese, as well as others, will be holding GC under CIR Bill.
Poor Boy!

Hey sexy in sari, CIR bill is for undocumented illegal workers who have entered US illegally before December 15, 2009.

jhapaliketo, well i have met a lot of ppl who have done that, esp while the maoist extremities were at peak, but i dont know the changes after they are in mainstream politics, but the usual procedure is that you have to have a strong evidence that you wont be able to live in nepal ,may it be the threat by maoist or any other terror group , and you need all those documents in english, you can get that done in Babarmahal, and you might have to hire an experienced immigration lawyer. It would be easy if you have served in armed forces like NA or NP or AFP. but as i have heard, you have to file for asylum within a year when you are in US, so inquire about that as well. do whatever you think will be good for you and your future bro, dont bother about some cheap a$$ comments ;)

jhapali bro, i am also on the same boat. thanks for posting it, and i wanna ask if you want to work together on it.
My case is little critical, I have the long term permit of japan which expires on may 2011. To get PR of japan I have to live there for continous 1 year starting from may of 2011, If I do that I have to sacrifice F1 visa of USA and halfway of my degree . Cant decide what to choose, business in Japan or further study and struggling life of student in USA.
I thought of giving 1 shot on Asylum visa after summer, returning from Nepal. If suceed, stay in USA or else quit USA and be happy in Tokyo. I am here in US for 3 years and lived just around a month in Nepal in past 7 years according to passport as I lived those years in India and Japan.
I would really appreciate Sajha talents if anyone can forecast some valuable ideas what you would do if you were in my shoes. Guys, what do you think will be better in this scenerio, to fly India and show my parents are living in Bangalore as they fled there coz they were tortured in Nepal or just create the evidence of political instability and torture and they still live in Nepal. Btw i got the tickets to Nepal on 16th may 2010.
guys thanks in advance with the apology of long story.
