Hi guys just need your help to apply for Canadian immigrant visa. Just say, I was cook in Nepal for 2 years. Recently  I got graduated from Australia  in ‘cooking’.  Am I eligible to apply for a ‘skilled worker or professional’?

Do you guys know any lawyer so I can contact him/her?

Only serious response PLEASE.

Unless you have an employer sponsoring you, I don't think you would have enough points to qualify for Canadian PR if you wish to apply independently. Canada places a lot of weight on academic degrees (measured by number of years of formal education) and specific job titles. I don't believe Cook is one of them. Don't get yourself a lawyer. Read www.cic.gc.ca first and after that make an educated decision whether to apply or not and whether to get a lawer as well.

if you have a certification from Culinary Institute of Australia, then apply at Sheraton Hotel & Resorts, NA. Washington DC location. Nepali Dai works at the hiring dept.  Your GC process will start within a month. ( if you are out-of-statues in US, no need to contact but if you have 245i or other current statues, good to go).
