I am planning to get a sidekick(T-mobile) from wirefly. But to order one needs to get the data plan as well in addition to the regular monthly plan. I could cancel it from T-mobile but searching online I found that they(wirefly) could charge me back for the discounted price on the phone which I could get for free. Is this true. Please help

yup it is...the only reason you get phones for so cheap or for free from wirefly is because you agree to have the dataplan for a certain number of times. If you decide to cancel it, you can't have the free phone .. There is so such thing as a free lunch

use data plan for 2/3 months, then cancel. This way, i don't think they will charge. I bought my blackberry and i did the same thing. They didn't charge me a penny!! Good luck
