I was so excited to go to the concert by Sambhujeet Baskota, But this thread made me feel all artists are not the ornament of country and its all about $$$.

Why don't you write about a criminal syndicate of some  "Nepalese artists" in tandem with their "Nepalese music promoters", some of them in Texas and some of them in New York City, who charge around 10 Lakhs per head to bring Nepalese from Nepal as an artist whenever they invite these "Nepalese artists" and their team from Nepal. Why don't you expose those criminals who have duped hundreds of Nepalese in Nepal with their money and empty promises to bring them in U.S.A?

I know all their names. I know their professions and where they are. Some of their victims are planning to unite and file a criminal complaint against these individuals. These individuals are "reputed" Nepalese artists from Nepal and their music organizers who organize their music programs around US. When they come here, they bring handful of ordinary folks as music artists but many  of them are victims who are still languishing back in Nepal but never got to come to USA and never got their money back from these criminal syndicate. I am happy to see our Nepalese brothers come here but if these criminal individuals fail to bring their victims to U.S.A, these criminals run away with their money and never return back their thosands of dollars they took as an advance to bring them.

I was brought to an attention to this modus operandi by Nepalese Artists themselves who know those individuals and some of them had themselves been victim. I myself went to one such organizer individual who lived in New York City to collect $10000 for a guy back in Nepal who was promised to bring him in USA. This guy had promised me million times that he would pay the money back but I found out that this guy finally fled from NYC.

Instead of writing such an article to attack Nepalese artists who are legally in USA and working hard to earn their livelihood like any other, why don't you write about what I said. I would be more than happy to provide all the information against these criminal syndicate.

This is first time I have read intellectual perspective from your side. To me honestly, I feel like SAN is speaking. But never mind. Well if you know the artists, then why don't you straightly name them . I wanna see those a$$hole getting striped.

I could straightly name only one individual because I happen to personally deal with this guy but the victim would not want this thing to blow up because he knows that it was not appropriate for him to be involved in this scheme. He just got caught up in this scheme being the gullible person he is.

Many of the allegations which I have heard from the respected muscians are very true but they are not openly willing to testify. I could write an article exposing all these but it would not be a credible story without some solid backing and testimonials and writing such expose' would also involve the issue of legality which could be challenged in court. I would therefore need to be very cautious in my writing to make it very credible. I would not like to assassinate the characters of these individuals even when I know that they are involved in this scheme of bringing folks as artists and charging thousands of dollars in Nepal and duping hundred others with an empty promises.

If any credible journalists want to expose this criminal syndicate, I would be willing to let them know the names of those individuals and they could approach it with investigative journralism. I also personally know one individual in New York who came to USA through this scheme. I cant reveal the name because it will jeopardize this individual as well.

As for some senseless activities that I pull out in Sajha, please be known that it's just a business, nothing personal. It's my effort to make things spicy in sajha once in a while when the site starts becoming dull. This is an open community where all types of views and ideas are welcomed. Every individuals have the freedom to choose. If any one is offended by the posting of certain users their sole remedy is not to read the posting of such individual. If any individual disrupt the posting of other users, the "thread creator" had the option to delete the thread posted by such individual. If the matter goes out of hand, the Admin steps in. As long as the individuals are with the terms and conditions of Sajha, the Admin allows their activities.

So please don't be offended with my postings which are highly offensive to some and entertaining to others. I leave this to your sole judgement whether to open and read my thread or not.

Why blame Nepali actors? Even high officials of government offices, police and the army have left their jobs and Nepal to go to the US and create a better life for themselves.

Everyone knows that Nepalese artist do not get good pay and respect in Nepal. Also there is huge political problem, load shedding, nepal bandha, water problem, gas problem bla bla bla. So thats why they decided to work hard and make a happy living in america and they are also giving some programs during there free time which is good. So please dont blame our artists

America ma ayera kaam garna huncha but the issue here is taking 10 - 15 lakhs per person to give visa and not returning the money by those dalals once it is rejected.
