I have bachelors degree from Nepal and need to evaluate through WES.org for USA equivalency. But WES.org is asking for official transcript sent directly by Tribhuvan University Examination Controller. I don't see that being happening from TU sending transcript to USA. Does anyone had done this before? What would be the process of getting official transcript from TU to WEB.org?

Please share your experience with WES.org. WES.org never pick up the phone as well.

Call WES and explained the TU system and they will waive that process.  You might have to wait some time before you can talk to someone at WES though, in my case I waited for about 45 mins. 

Thanks Jonny for your suggestion. But when did you do your evaluation from WES. From last one year I have been trying to contact WES via phone and no one picks up. I would highly appreciate if you can you provide more information? I applied to WES last year and I also sent them certified copies of my transcript but yet no luck. They are saying I need to send documents directly from TU.

i did my evaluation back in 2004 and photocipes of my transcript worked that time.  do you have attested copy from nepal? 

Yes, I submitted attested copy by TU but WES did not accept it. I just got lucky today and was able to call customer service at WES and I was being told that lots of people from Nepal send documents directly from Nepal from TU. I wasn't sure how people are sending TU Controller of Examination certified transcripts directly to WES from TU. Does TU do this kind of service for students?
If anyone successfully did this then please please please let me know the process.

I think you have the orginal copy . If you have then go to some notary office and try to notarize them and send it to WES.

I do have original copy of my transcript and I asked about this notarized document option or even going to WES office in-person with original transcript but WES said that will not work.

Just a suggestion I dont know whether it will work for you or not ? Have you tried to talk with your school counselor? Ask help from them. Don't take me wrong. I was just trying to help.

I know they are so hard but not impossible. My husband did that evaluation. For him, we called Nepal and they send attested copies(from jamal at that time). One more thing, with attested copies of you transcripts, you have to send WES evaluation form . You need stamp on that form. You need to pay nrs 50 in jamal bank and you know the long lines in Nepal right. So send someone who has patience to do that, the one and only man who does sign overthere is Mr. Purosottam. Why u want equivalent from WES. Try other organization. I did equivalent from GCE. This time, WES process is very hard and picky too.

I am trying to do with WES because the college I am looking at all require evaluation from WES. and WES have this strange rule which they don't want to understand.
