The Constituent Assembly decided on May 28, 2008 the declaration of republic and abolishing our beautiful & peaceful Nepal's MONARCHY!

WHY THE PEOPLE OF NEPAL DID NOT DECIDE THE FATE OF OUR MONARCHY THROUGH REFERENDUM?

How can the CA decide on the fate of our Monarchy?

Why there was no dicussion in that day's session before the declaration?

How come that decision was taken when 26 members had/have not been appointed for the CA?

This decision was challenged in SC in Nepal and SC rejected the PIL. Even though SC rejected the PIL, it is my opinion that in an International Court of Justice this will go in favor of Monarchy.

By the way I RESPECT THE MONARCHY AS AN INSTITUTION not for an individual. Monarchy is not someone's fiefdom!

WHY NEPAL HAS BEEN DECLARED A SECULAR STATE? Nepal's demographics show: 80% Hindus, 15% Budhists and 3% Muslim, 2% others. THEREFORE, HOW CAN CA DECLARE NEPAL A SECULAR STATE? Nepal todate HAS NEVER HAD HINDU-MUSLIM RIOTS and all religions and castes/sub-castes HAVE CO-EXISTED EXTREMELY PEACEFULLY!

I personally think THAT THERE IS AN INTERNATIONAL CONSPIRACY BEHIND WHAT IS HAPPENING CURRENTLY AND IN FUTURE OF NEPAL!

AND TODAY I INFORM EVERYONE ON SAJHA THAT IF AND EVER ANY OF THE MAOISTS-TERRORISTS leaders SET FOOT ON USA, EUROPE, CANADA, AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND I WILL HAVE COURT CASE FILED FOR KILLING 14000+ INNOCENT MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN. This is my PROMISE!

You are free to do whatever you want. I have seen your postings before and I agree to some extent. Yes I agree that we will be doomed as a communist state.
If I am not wrong, once upon a time, the whole world, most of the countries, had some form of monarchy, I wonder why so many countries abolished it.
Secular state does not mean you are not allowed to be hindu. Be as hindu as you want. Why do you have to own everything?
Filing the court case is a good idea. Do that. Tell us when you do and what happened too.

Indian parties form pressure group to propel Maoists to power

Some parties belonging to the ruling United Progressive Alliance of India have come together to back the Maoists and press for the formation of a government led by its chairman in Nepal, reports Kantipur daily.

Constituents of Nepal Democratic Movement Solidarity Committee - which had backed the democratic agitation in the country - held a meeting, Thursday, in New Delhi where they expressed dissatisfaction at Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala for 'staying in power against people's mandate.'

"Koirala should clear the way for the formation of the government led by Maoist chief, as the chairman of the largest party. We are sad that he has not resigned yet," an Indian leader who participated in the meeting told Kantipur.

The meeting also formed a pressure group including Sitaram Yechury, politburo member of Communist Party of India (Marxist); DP Tripathy, general secretary of Nationalist Congress; and D Raja, national secretary of CPI.

The daily reports that the pressure group will press the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh not to support Koirala. "We demand that the Indian government does not support Koirala. We will meet with PM Singh on Saturday in this regard," the leader said. nepalnews.com sd Jun 13 08

U can file a court case against them. I am sure. Didn't you notice one maoist Terrorist named Suresh Ale and another guy were here in US last year? I has posted a thread in Sajha for the same but no one appeared to help my cause. I was helpless cause I didn't have any proof in my hand to funish case against them. If you really have some legal knowledge, I might be a help. Lets discuss about this in Sajha and have a Nepali Intl Human Rights lawyer at hand for that. There are some instances like that such as Hector Gramazo of Colombia....Commn sajha lawyers!

Sarkozy: Thanks. I am sorry I did not read when you may have written ABOUT COURT CASES AGAINST MAOISTS-TERRORISTS. As for me, like I wrote here, let the maoists-terrorists set foot on the countries mentioned. TILL THEN LET US WAIT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS IN NEPAL. It is said that "...100 days can determine many things!" In that case let us wait till October 5, 2008 as on that date 100 days would have passed after the May 28, 2008 decision of CA!

Meanwhile they are all bickering over seats of power! Therefore, 17 days after CA 'gala gathering' has brought ZILCH, NADA, ZERO POSITIVE DEVELOPMENTS for NEPAL!

That's what I was raising a question?. We should have asked people do you want to abolish monarcy or not same time with CA.

Then we whould have right choice.

Why You guys still love to be a slave. The present king doesnot represent any spirit of monarchy. You guys wash ur head..Do kiriya for the death of your monarchy.CA is also people decision if u have a little brain to think take it easy change is mandatory and it is started by abolishing the feudalist monarchy  and it will proceed slowly.Keep in mind monarchy has never done any good to nepal ,never ,never,the present status in all due to monarchy and anarchy.

Yes, you are absolutely right. In this modern day and age, nothing could be more legal and legitimate than one's birth right to rule based on inheritence from so and so anchestors.

Friends! look forward. Who do you want to make the king of Nepal- Girija, Prachande or Gyane?  No one is less than the others. Each of them was trying to pull down others but situation did not favor Gyane because he caught the wrong end of the stick, thats it.

CA has every right to abolish the monarchy. On what principle was the CA election held? The majority of the first sitting of the CA would abolish the monarchy and parties had participated in the CA on that very principle. Even Kamal Thapa had participated. If he had courage, he should have boycotted the election and challenged the legality of the CA election.

It is too late guys. No use of rolling crocodile tears. Monarchy is a past for now.
