guys, i have received an I20 for PSM masters program in Grand Valley State Univerisity in Michigan. According to the university the living expenses is $ 12000 per annum. Isn't it much much expensive..My friend say...people after going to US, they share room with other nepalese and stay off campus and cost much cheaper than colleges appartment. The problem is that i havenot find any nepalese student in GVSU. Please if any one from Michigan, do reply to me....iam really want to knoe more about Grand rapid and Allendale city in Michigan and anyone who can offer me as their room mate or share their appartment....................

There is no way it is going to cost you $12,000 a year to live in Grand Rapids unless you live on campus, which I don't think you are planning to. Off campus housing is quite cheap but you may need a car since the public transportation is not so reliable in this small city.

am agree wid caseyindc ji. its nither big city nor expesive. You can find very few nepali student around grand rapids but you can find lots of indians over there. living cost is around 500-600 for single room and tranportation service is not bad. on my experiance if you can find one roommate then u can cover up wid 400 monthy for living and other stuffs. i have one indian fren who runs indian restuarent. so let me know if you need any help from him...good luck dude
