How do I find out what is the CIP code for CIS major. Does anyone knows that STEM inculde CIS major or not?

Check your I-20, there must be CIP code. I guess, you have 11.xxxx.

Well I did not check mine too. I heard it from my international advisor. I am too lazy now to go and look if its really there.
Well, for now I can help in another way. check this:
http://nces.ed.gov/pubs2002/cip2000/ciplist.asp?CIP2=11
But, what you have as your CIP code is determined with the one written in your I-20 or if not in your SEVIS receipt.
