i have always enjoyed watching hindi movies.
and i am a gr8 fan of Aamir Khan.
i have always liked his sensible acting but my girl friend she likes Sharukh Khan.
we had a discussion last night about who is the best.
what do u think guys.

You have mentioned that you are great fan of Amair Khan. So your girlfriend can be great fan of SRK. So it's personal choice and own judgment. Everybody has different ways of viewing things and persons. It's stupid idea to discuss exactly who is no1 or no2. or who has played many movies or less fans. That's NOT important. What is important, here is, ' respect your girlfriend's different views that doesn't match with yours rather than arguing in this petty matter.

Both are great actors, for me Rajesh Hamal is 10000 times better than SRK & Amair Khan ... You might think Rajesh Hamal is nowhere near them ... You 're right but it's my different way of thinking i happen to choose Rajesh Hamal  neither your Hero Amair nor SRK ..!

Personally, I don't watch many hindi movies.  I find most of them asinine and down right stupid. 

But when I see that Aamir Khan is in it, then I do watch that movie without much thought because I know his movies are all good (relatively speaking of course, in Bollywood context, can't really compare to movies from Hollywood or elsewhere, totally different stratosphere).  Over the years, particularly in past decade or so, Aamir Khan has managed to develop a respectable brand name that even Amitabh Bacchan has not been able to.  You know for sure the former's movie will be, not only enjoyable, but also made with good quality.  You can't say as much of the latter.

Now, what about Shah Rukh Khan?  Frankly, I usually pass on his movies.  The guy is so single dimensional.  All his movies are the same.  He has only one acting style.  Yes he is good in that style, but that's all he has.  I read his interview above, I don't know what he meant by "I am more physical".  I think Aamir can kick his butt anyday.  Did anyone see him playing basketball in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai?  Oh c'mon!!!!

But I guess film business is a business.  Aamir Khan is very selective and works only in one or two movies a year.  Whereas, Shah Rukh Khan is like a assembly belt and brings in lot of money.  Indians like to see him frolick and dance.  So, he probably should be rated as #1.

My vote is for Salman Khan .. He is the real man in this industry...

Shahrukh is the best and this guy pranay doenot know what the hell he is talking about. Whats the source boy. The reality is there is no one who has been so successful with so much struggle in bollywood. I know anupamkher who has done a lot to get into bollywood other than sharukhkhan and has been able to stand by.

I know amirkhan is a good actor but , who do you think is a good among them?  One who does selective (mostly good) stuff and makes it good or one who makes every movie a special movie only because of his presence. Watch Hum tumhare hain sanam and find out, kingkhan doesnot need any story to make a movie good. See his acting on swades and devdas and assume amirkhan on both of the roles. not only this talk about the recent movie chakde india and think about amirkhan in it. And tell me a name of single movie of amir that shahrukh cant do. In my perspective both  of them are ironical and suits different roles.

Bro do u expect to find every detail of him in google? I born in delhi, raised in delhi, completed my school from delhi, lived in delhi for more than half of my age. Have u heard a lawsuit against SRK's parents company regarding their monopoly in petro bzness? His company controlled the supply of Petrol, Deisel and kerosene in  Delhi and its surrounding area till Late Gandh's premiership.

BTW the mose amazing thing u guys may not know his blood related uncle was finance minister or House speaker of Pakistan during the first term  premiership of Mr. Nawaj Sharif. U can ask any well informed paki about that.

Btw i am not voicing my opinion regarding his capabilities he is superb in his own way but struggle u guys are talking about. What struggle when u have plenty of money and have opportunity choose  what u love to do? He may not have money than as much as now,  but he did have more than enough which will shy our own any nepali house such as chaudhary, golcha or whoever. There is difference in  trying to persuade directors while u do not have to worry about ur financial situation where as there is someone who is  working odd jobs to support himself. It goes same to Aamir too he was also spoonfed, he was also well connected no doubt about it. I myself love watching both of the guys movies they do provide good entertainment.

My talk is just about struggle. If u talk about struggle than i think Akhsay Kumar have done that. i know he is medicore actor but he did his share of struggle.

Manisha Koirala did the most struggle.

She is a lady from a small city 350 miles away from capital in a neighboruing coutnry,,,, her father was also a freedom fighter both for India and her home country,,, then she went to Kathmandu (capital city of that neighbouring country) ,,struggling for success in movies.. got a chance in a movie by luck but wasnt a success,,,.. than went to Bombay... she struggled a lot there too... and then she start getting chance in movies... got some hit movie too... and again she had to struggle... her love for the film industry is so much that she satrted playing "C" grade movies BUT didnot left the job she liked the most.

As far as I know , i have never met with aamir hater but plenty of Sks lover and hater

In my personal opinion aamir gives u variety in his acting , comedy,emotions,distinct characters and many more where as SK doesnt have that range. Aamir and amitab can master any role . Thats how judge my actor.
