With the leftist parties failing to form an alliance, the following is the widely speculated ranking ( from largest to smallest) .
1. Nepali congress
2.CPN- UML
3.TMDP (Terai madhes democratic party)
4.CPN-Maoist

With this speculation, Prachanda seems restless amidst the worst fear in his life. The irony is that both congress and UML have shouldered Prime-ministerial system with cultural president. Prachanda spits venom terming UML as traitors.

If the communist parties do not reach to an agreement and continue to accuse one another, there is no doubt NC will be on a better side and will swipe away the majority of seats. If those leftists have some vision left, better to come up with sth in their mutual benefit otherwise we will be ruled by those freaking leaders of NC.................

Peoples need to show these lunatics how it feels to loose our family without reasons, I wish no one win but that can not be and but not more than 7 seats, that will be the greatest unity of Nepalese people and THHAPPAD.

whoever wins, it will be like

99%- the same old corrupts, terrorists, mandales and biharis (they have the power and money needed to win); all familiar faces and people are bhedas fighting to vote for them

1%- fresh new, including mahila, janajati, utpidit etc

Since the Constituent Assembly in our particular case is going to have a dual role of a “Constitution drafting body” and a de facto “interim parliament” until the next election happens under a new constitution, both (a) larger representation of all groups, and (b) the victory of more popular groups, in some kind of a balance makes more sense than a single minded defeat of unpopular groups. I think Nepali voters are going to vote that way. No single party is going to get a landslide victory. My modest speculation.
