Whats your expectation?
You might think twice before you attend.
If you think you will get what what you want by spending over $1000 then I guess you can attend. If your company pays for this event then thats even better.
Miami is a nice city --no doubt about that. I guess you could also enjoy the warm Miami weather while you are down there. So you can make it as a vacation also. So in that aspect its not bad...$1000 for attending the conference and enjoying Miami ....
But if you are just going for the conference --I don't think its worth it unless you wanna hear those execs...
FYI--I think Its the same hotel where our nepali punjabi friend got married about 5 years ago (I got an oportunity to meet many nepali punjabi rom Kupondole during the wedding).
