this is just a work of fiction
On December 24th 2009, 55 Mirage 2000 fighter bombers from 1st air squadron of royal Nep Air Force attacked the American carrier battle group off the Nepalese coast comprising of a lone aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, two destroyers, three guided missile frigates and two trident class nuclear submarines. The air attack was supported by ground based Exocet, Sunburn and Brahmos anti ship guided missile systems. The attack, swift and pin point was a grand success. At 7.45 AM GMT two Exocet missiles fired from mirage jets landed and crippled the American frigate USS Oklahoma. At 7.50 AM hearing the news of the attack, 4 FA/18 Hornets were scrambled from the carrier to intercept Nepalese fighters. But Hornets were no match for the Python 5 air to air missiles that Mirage Jets carry for self defensive purpose. 3 of them were completely destroyed and the last remaining American aircraft was chased by a Mirage 2000 fighter away from the battle zone. At 8.10 AM as all American defensive interceptor aircrafts were getting ready to launch from the carrier, a Brahmos missile with 200 kg HE warhead fired from a battery of the coast of Taplejung struck the carrier at its electronic warfare system, knocking out the radar and launch catapults. The fire engulfed the entire ammo and fuel storage areas of the carrier causing huge explosions and fire. At 9.10 AM, the badly crippled carrier sunk with 2000 men abroad, making it the largest casualties of American lives in a single attack after Pearl Harbor.
After this incident, the American Navy pulled out all its ships from the region, calling it an act of war. The Nepalese Foreign Minister spoke in a press conference stating, “ We have always been proud people and we do not regret to use force to defend our motherland.” The NATO nations immediately declared war against Nepal. Russia and China have supported the Nepalese action and India is soon to join the league of three. It is believed that Nepal had produced over 600 Exocet and 200 Sunburn missiles to date on its own. It has almost 200 ICBMs and 70-80 nuclear warheads. The aircraft industry has produced over 300 Mirage jets and has successfully copied F-117 Night Hawk, the American stealth fighter. So with Russia, China and India at its side, Nepal is more than a tough enemy. There is no doubt that in this modern battle field of politics, ecomony and technology, the American hunters can easily become hunted.
