I just moved into Maryland. Does anyone know where I can get some furnitures in this area? I need something that's not too expensive as I am just a poor ol student. Your help is appreciated.

I have some furnitures, that i wanna get rid off, and if you are serious you can haul them for free.

Items I have,
1.King size bed with matress and frame.
2.PullOveer Bed Sofa.
3.Computer Desk(Vintage)
4.And a treadmill that works fine.

Hey Xena. They have an IKEA at College Park, MD which may be worth checking out and their delivery charges is really reasonable too...BTW, most of the furniture/accessories there are of a contemporary style and cheap too. She's gonna love it. I, myself am an IKEA freak advocating this 'cheap and best' brand of furniture to all I know. :D ;D

Ikea will definitely be the best choice. Depending on where she is at in MD, there is a store in Rockville, Sticks ‘N’ Stuffs, which is pretty reasonable too. Also, some other choices would be Furniture4Less, Zenya and Zadia around Gaithersburg area.

If looking for used ones, craigslist can be your best bet.

If looking for new ones, there are IKEA and IMI Furniture close by to name a few.

Samsara: hehe! Well, I thought it will be a good idea to send out a request from her personally..but later thought 'this is my ID' so changed it back to my voice. But, the wordings are all hers. Sent in msn which I copied and pasted. Yup, we got Ikea here too and I like its design :D

1) why don't you try salvation army? you can get stuffs for pretty cheap price in there. try googling for it in your area.
