You need to be more specific. You can not generalize.

More specific! sure. Many of the threads are posted poorly. Thought process is not concrete, many claims lack evidence, language is at times horrible(sorry, I dont mean to be rude), and there is no respect for grammer. On the other hand, I actually find devnagari posts more sensible and entertaining. My suggestions: Dont start or reply to a thread unless you know what you are talking about. Sometimes, minor language or grammetical errors can entirely change the meaning of what one is trying to convey.

Newplaza1, I do not agree with your argument. You emphasize that Sajha is only for those people who can write good english. You agrue in your last reply that "Many of the threads are posted poorly. Thought process is not concrete, many claims lack evidence, language is at times horrible(sorry, I dont mean to be rude), and there is no respect for grammer. " How do you think that all people can write good english. So, do not be rude. Nobody in Sajha do care how good you can wirte. It is not writting proficiency exam. If you understand what they saying, then that is enough......

Sorry newplaza..i will go with dandapani. I do not think it needs to be perfect to that extent. Sajha thread is not an academic journal...nor a rocket science. Nonetheless, nobody would prefer any meaningless or rash post/comment. Sorry again...this time for the thick remark that i made here.

i understand the logic thing. but what the heck is with grammar now? sure, it will be a perfect icing on the cake if a good logic is put forth by well-structured sentences devoid of any error, but we are not publishing stuffs in a journal, are we? moreover, some users do thorough proof-reading before posting their stuffs while others don't. some have more time than others. some are careful and some are hustlers by nature. i am one of the latter :P. this is what sajha is about, hoina? bottom line is that the idea should be conveyed as much precisely and concisely as possible ...that's what i believe in and hope you agree with me. complaining for minor mistakes is like missing the forest for trees, don't you think so? talking of minor mistakes: 1) it's grammar and grammatical, not grammer and grammetical :P 2) it's don't and not dont (missed the apostrophe!) hahaha more importantly, in a generic platform like sajha, i feel that being a good reader is more important than being a good writer. if you know and can filter what to take from a post or a thread, you're fine! don't take the entirety of what is served at you blindly without self-analyzing. ohm namah shivaya ! :P LooTe
