Iraqi government is about to present a bill drafted by US to its parliament that will allow the foreign (read US) companies to take control of the Iraqi oil fields. After the fall of Saddam, these oil fields are under control of US army. Now they want to institutionalize it by allowing the american (and possibly Bristish) private companies to take over the control. What do u guys think of it? A good payback for the war, huh?

yes it is called investment. foreign companies will have authority to run those oil fields but they are not taking it for FREE. most of the oil rich countries have foreign companies drilling their oils because they (oil rich country) lack the technonogy and expertise to do it efficiently and economically
