I will like andrea pirlo from italy in the midfield. Surprising to see no Italian defender in the whole set up. No opponent player has so far scored goal against italy testimony to the fact that italian defence has been very good.

I will also like lucas podolski in place of crespo or ronaldo . He has been a revelation. and what no beckham. Comon he has been superb in creating chances and scoring goals from freekick. I will also replace kaka by steven gerrard. He has scored two goals and times has looked threatning.

and yes matarazzi or nesta in the defence is a must.

Bibas 100, you are underming to Ukran's goal-keeper, i dont know his name but, he is the best goalkeeper i ever seen in this world cup. Did you see the match between Ukrane and sweden, i guess. whao ! he didn't make them any goal in penalty kicks.
count him in NO 1 goal keeper if you wish.

Agreed, he is a good goalkeeper. In fact I had a hard time deciding between these two n I went for Buffon. Equally good though...
