i am sick and tired of nepali politics. i m not a pessimist by any means but i DON"T see how this equation with three variables: monarchy, parties and maoists is going to be solved.

i dont see how we can get rid of one or ideally two of these extreme variables.

1) monarchy: no matter how much these republican dudes and dudettes bark, there is a good number of royalists around, and since the parliament is reinstated, we still will have to remain under its periphery. THAT MEANS, KING HAS AND WILL STILL HAVE THE UPPER HAND

2) Maoists: While many of us believe that they are under enormous pressure nationally and internationally, so they will look for entering into the political framework, i dont see how are they gonna leave the 10 yrs long revolution with 13000 lives behind just to join the political framework as a mere party. THEY ARE NOT GONNA SETTLED WITH THAT. MARK MY WORDS. MAOIStS-=>>> COMMUNIST REPUBLIC OF NEPAL... you want that??????


3) Parties: GOOD VISIONARY LEADERS=0. THATS NOT GONNA HELP

well said, although I don't think India will ever invade millitarily. Their invasion would be more economical and sending more Indians to Nepal and creating a situation like in Sri Lanka.

the King is not daaku... remember when he introduced Nepal to WTO how this girija said it was not needed for Nepal...girija is indian puppet. now he is invited by yachuri and manmohan also called him on ph... u think they are doing all for free or what??? read bineet's article up.....i read that in the newspaper too..... learn to respect someone who makes a move for the country and the people..... Indians wanted the King removed because he also introduced china as an observer in saarc.... again learn to respect true people- otherwise the country will always prove to be a sati le sarapeko desh./

Not surprized at all! over the years i have known that all royalist come down to personal attacks when they can't argue. i have never said Girija is a sadhu i have called him CHOR. I have never said i support what maoist did or is doing I only said they can't be termed as terrorist as per the definition of terrorist. they are rebels, guerrilas, murderers but not terrorist.

And yeah stop posting threads with name calling it is not going to change my view point. don't get personal you don't know me i don't know you. okay? i know we all want to make nepal a better place(except mandales) in all aspect. difference is just that we have different opinions about how to do it.
