Hi:
I am currently in Singapore. I am thinking move to USA for undergraduate study. What will be the chance or getting student visa. My sister is in USA but I am not going to the same state where she lives. I have enough money in singapore bank to cover my tuition and living for a year in USA. Is that enough or I need to find sponsor. Is it good idea to ask my sister to sponsor me?

For me i found life hard out here if u dont have enought money for ure tutions.
Specially for undergraduate.
They have to take more credit hours then ours masters...and they dont even get teaching assistantship....
SO once you 1 yrs living expenses are over do u have any funds to cover you for the next 4 yrs or so....if not and if u are intending to work and cover your expenses...
I think that would be a bad idea....cos that makes you life tough...i have seen guys in undergraduate working and studying....and life for them are tough...

Just think twice before you come....dont expect a easy life...

For visa.....in NEpal they usually ask you to show funds...for the entire studies...and for undergraduate for one year...
In singapore i dont know.......

Do you guys have any idea about cheaper and reliable universities in USA? what is the possibility of getting visa with admission in Community college ?
