अतुलको सम्झनामा

तबलावादक अतुल गौतमलाई विशेष कार्यक्रमसहित शनिबार सम्झना गरियो । प्रज्ञाभवनमा भएकोे ३५ औं अतुल जयन्तीमा 'सुकर्म' ब्यान्डले निरन्तर २० मिनेटसम्म शास्त्रीय धुन बजाएर उनको स्मरण गर्‍यो ।
एक वर्षअघि दिवंगत गौतमलाई सम्झने चाँजो कविप्रसाद गौतम हरेराम संकीर्तन कुञ्जले मिलाएको हो । कार्यक्रममा अतुलको जीवनीमा आधारित निरञ्जनजंग थापाद्वारा निर्र्मित वृत्तचित्र लोकार्पण गरिएको थियो ।

उनको आध्यात्मिक र सांगीतिक जीवनका सफलता र संघर्ष समेटिएको २५ मिनेट लामो वृत्तचित्रको कार्यक्रममा प्रदर्शन पनि गरिएको थियो ।

त्यसै अवसरमा उनीसँग संगत गरेका र परिचितहरूको संस्मरणहरू समेटिएको 'अतुलनीय अतुल' स्मृति ग्रन्थ पनि सार्वजनिक गरियो । रामशरण दर्नाल, रवि प्राञ्जल र जीवनाथ खनालद्वारा सम्पादित ग्रन्थको कान्तिपुर पब्लिकेसन्सका अध्यक्ष हेमराज ज्ञवालीले लोकार्पण गर्नुभएको हो ।

समारोहमा चट्याङ मास्टर, डा. चिन्तामणि योगी, प्रह्लाद चैतन्यलगायतले अतुलले तबलामार्फत पुर्‍याएको सांगीतिक योगदानबारे चर्चा गरेका थिए । स्मृति ग्रन्थ र वृत्तचित्र लोकार्पणमा पुगेका निम्तालुहरूमाझ अतुल पत्नी सुरचिताले अतुलको अभियान अघि बढाउन सहयोगको आग्रह गरेकी थिइन् ।

Thanks for the article. Atul was the same personality like Motiram Bhatta who passed away before flourishing to most of his talent. If God exists, please show some mercy to the people like him.

I have known Atul through my good friend Sangita Mishra, Atul have great personality ...he is likeable as well as great humorist. We feel like we lost great freind...who bring happiness to many people. Atul is still in our mind and soul, now I am in the United States missing all good freind of Nepal....The true tribute to Atul will be help to revive his dream for better Nepal...I know Ashu, you are doing great job...may god give you all the strength for your successful show on Feb 1st.

Please help to revive Democratic and Peaceful Nepal.
