Politicians in Nepal do not know what to say and where to start from, they however do know how call a strike so the general people can suffer. From the day one when King took over the country they were saying we will do this and that and so fort. It has been almost a year and nothing has been done. On the other hand its shows Nepal’s politicians has such a less IQ, they now have to rely on Maoist in order to achieve their Goals. These politicians need to understand what people want not what they want. Shaking hands with Maoist has lost faith from general citizen. Maoists, who has terrorise country for last 6 years, whose main object is to make Nepal as republic state now all of a sudden wants to establish democracy. It’s a laughing matter. If the citizens were so frustrate with the kings take over, by know would have already seen a big revolt. Its shows that majority of citizen rather have king then these politicians who has terriorize the country for almost 10 years. In my opinion I rather have some restriction as longs as there is peace and stability in the country.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, joshiji. The parties have gone to extra lengths for power. They even colluded with the very Maoists that they had branded as terrorists. Now, after Moists abandoned their meaningless ceasefire, they are blaming the government for this becasuse they do not have the guts to be at odds with the Moists. And they dream of sharing the power with them, how about that! It is about time the political parties start realizing that they can not trick Nepalis all the time.

Yeah!!! ... and somehow we are forced to believe that they are going to restore democracy and bring peace and prosperity back in the country? Well, we've been there, seen that, well now, give me something else -- yeah, gimme a glass of water too, so that when I finally see peace and prosperity in the country, I won't be surprise and choke to death ... coz the way the vehicle is dancing on the road, I am sure the driver is drunk. Jai Nepal!! Pashupati Naath le sabai ko Kalyaan Garun!!! (Tara Gardainan ra po aapat!!!) This line is inspired by the veteran chatter "Coolhands" aka "Buttheavy" who used to rule Nepali Chatrooms a long long time ago. :P

Maoists should go ahead with their ideas by any means. There is absolutely no point in appeasing some people who will not be happy with the Maoists anyway. The job of citizens is to do nothing, get frustrated and to complain. That also means the citizens have no willingness nor do they have any guts to do anything. There is absolutely no point in listening to what these citizens have to say. If the Maoists start to listen to these citizens, the Maoists will hear nothing but frustration and complains. The message of the Maoists to the citizens should be clear and simple telling them, "If you dont have any guts to do anything, dont complain and stand in our way."

we should all agree that Maoist is a political problem because of our poor socio-economic problem.whatever they are doing is not right but their demand has to be addreseed.so far as peace and stability is concerned, their is no alternatives for democrarcy.Donot blame political parties. In democracy in body can come and go,it's not a big deal. How do u think ,U will maintain peace and order by suprassinng people's voice??? How many couintry in the world have thu most cruel autocratic royal regime and prospering .Don't u feel shame when the leader of our country ,unfortunately so called "king" talks about " Digital divide the world" in some international summit at the same time he cuts all the internet and telephone service in the country ??Give me a break ???I still do agree we are lacking some good visinary leader in the country.

i am sick of this why people can't understand that nepal's situation is very complex, it is not black and white. we tend to be more concerned about right and wrong, raja and mao , girija ki madhabe rather than what works. what ever works for the betterment of the country , we should go for that instead. i think neither king nor maoist can win this conflict militarily. they must come to round table for talks. king should give power back to the people and just relax and enjoy his freebies kina tauko dukha hola bekarma. now he 's gonna be the one who brings the end to shah dynasty.

I dont' understand why some people think king is the right person... In my opinion these kings, politicians and maiost are equal in everything..they are the blood sucker of nepalese people....i don't want to support non of these...Kings and politicians both of them are corrupted....If they are in power..then only things they do is for themself...there is hardly who will think about the country...

Not at all . Why should i be afraid. All i want is a country to be peace, where pur country can generate income from torusim and we all can leave peace. What good it does with all those strike and other stuff. Its ourfolks get effected. So think twice before you write something. i mean use your commonsense. take care
