By re-electing Koirala Nepali Congress has proven that there aren't any new blood that can take over the party. It also proves that Koirala does not think that anyone else can do the job. What job? He has been doing a terrible job. he has been doing a terrible job within his party and within Nepal. His party was DIVIDED during his rule and NEPAL was divided during his rule. Are people who hold the Nepali Congress Party Card that stupid to realize what damagas Koirala has done both to the party and to Nepal or are they simply cowards and opportunists who are afraid to take stands to protect their own cocain addictions.

The so called agitating parties, stop trying to find the escapegoat on the Monarchy and the Maoist and step up to the plate. take resonsibilities for you guys ruining nepal. Taking nepal back 100 years!! And you think you can handle the GORA given democracy. You can't even think for yourselves you have to steal ideas from the western world!!

I am not a fan of Girija or any political leader. Yet I am beginning to admire Girija for cetain of his qualities and retain his grip within NC.

The ultimate goal of a politician is to be in the position to implicate his/her philosophies, policies for the betterment of the people. Time and again, Girija has failed to do that and has broken the policies. laws he himself made viz no more than two terms for the president of NC.

Despite this kind of breaking of the rules, very few NC members could challenge him. Ironically, most of them voted, opted him as next leader. So why to blame Girija? He is successful as a politician in remaining/retaining the power and do/say whatever he wants. (he is not a true leader in this sense as he does not represent the vision of the public or party that a genuine leader follows).

His win must have set a very bad example among people who are looking for alternatives, that too from a old, experience and mature (?) political party like NC.

It does not matter who leads the Nepali Congress. The result will be the same for Nepal. Most of them are corrupt, girl trafficers, drug trafficers, smugglers and criminals. The same situation in other parties and the palace. Maoists are even more notorious. Its sad but Nepal is destined to a complete failure. Its a fact.

i agree koiralas have let us down many times..take this the fate of the subcontinent politics to have allowed the family legacies prosper.and the poor sufferes, the ignorant powerless ones having no choice but to support the bad ones among the worst left..still B P's vision lasts and unfortunately there's none to carry the burner ..tired us we have tried so many..among the rest i still reckon this dr sahshank koirala ,,new face on the block who i am sure must have been equally influenced by the dirt politics and the culture he has but no choice to refuse hymning with..i see some ray of hope in this guy ..just left his illustrious medical career for the good of politics, somewhere in my heart i feel he is out there to give a difference,for a change from the fooling lot ,,lil has he proved by his outstanding victory in recent CWC elections ,,i think he is there to deliver sth different to people ..Congress or NO,,koirala or no koirala ,,lets give this bloke a chance..
