I am researching for an article on the lives of illegal Nepali immigrants living in the United States, to be published on our site www.samudaya.org in the near future. Although i know some people personally who are illegal immigrants in this country, I feel that my article would be more complete if I had the input of a larger and more diverse group of people. I have a friend who quit school and works under someone else's Social Security number and I wonder if there is any way to get Green Card for people like him. If there is any way to make it happen it will definately lift his social status to another level within the Nepalese community at home and and here in the US. Because he helped a great deal in a past I want to return the favour to him by helpin ghim on this issue.

Any suggestions ?

Heavens forbid that the INS is reading this thread and get into your email Vigilence, tons of illegals are likely to get into trouble provided they email u. Do u know that its actually legal for Uncle Tom to get into people's accounts? This is what I was told but I need to double check.

Uncle Tom, from famous Uncle Tom's Cabin, is sometimes derogatorily used to portray a black person who favors white people's company.
