Now all the political parties are gone and it is true that they hardly can get any political support from politically frustrated Nepalese people. But it is time to think about which one to choose from Maoists or Monarchy. We can't let the king kill all the maoists, everyone of which are Nepalese people and even let the maoist continue like this. Iit is time to think about and decide W H I C H O N E ? and why? and let every Nepalese act in that direction.

ehhh hhe. Don't make any false assumption that the parties are finished off. I do not mean to support the corrupt leaders but parties are made up of millions of activist and supporters that live in each home of the country.WIth the exercise of democracy for years, they have the power not only to throw their incapable leaders; they can oust who ever they want with a unrestrictable flow of mass. Despotic Gyanendra has shrewdly designed a coup with the help of guns. But in a few weeks time, if the restrictions imposed against the freedom of public is not lifted, the flood of mass will dismantle Narayanhiti Palace. Mind you! the Royal Nepal Army is comprised of sons and daughters of the Nepali public. They will not always obey the orders of their bosses. Remember what happened in Ukraine, Ivorycoast or Phillipines. I know most of the Nepalese previleged to stay in the US are children of rich Kathmanduties. They obviosuly support the King for their Swartha. They don't want ordinary people to progress so they are dancing in the tune of King Gyanendra. But I suggest you to ask your favourite King not to ignore ordinary people's rights. If repression exceeds the threshold, Naraynhiti will be a rubble of riches. I am utterly angered with the overwhelming Gyanebhakti showed by these group of selfish thugs now. Shame on you to live in America and advocate blanket support to Autocracy. Someone in one of the threads had posted a picture of few hundreds gathered in kathmandu to felicitate Gyanendra. Don't you know that a party rally in Kathmandu would fill up Khulamanch?? sayajana jamma garaera janatako support paye bhanda laaj pani nalagne. Thukka paji haru. Lift the ban on rallies and see how would the mass flood in Tudikhel to express their opposition to Gyanendra. Democracy is in my blood. Democracy is in majority of the Nepalese blood. Tyranny will end soon. And this time the tyranny will be ended for ever.

Lets let Maoists and Monarch head on for a big fights and whoever wins takes the grand pize of ruling the country. In case if both dont make a clear victory against another let them rule in their own way in the portions of the country where they have already won over another.

I appreciate your patience and strong belief towards democracy newuser. But tell me one thing. What 's the use of a car if there is no driver ? Isn't it better to leave the car behind and walk with some one than to wait for some body who can drive it?? No matter how long it takes , we can atleast reach the destination. Obviously, all of us know there are few people who really don't want to see the car running and let any driver to run it.

right! initially i thought the move was necessary. but by now it is clear that it was a result of a ploy of king and his ' bharautes- grab whatever is found to fill in empty stomachs'. they might have thought that 3 years would be enough to collect all assets of the nation and flee from it. first three months are safe for them to sell "Mutris" and every thing, but, it does not go that much far, not more than 8 months. the king has already lost my support and from many Nepalis. king might find a good refugee status any where in the word, but his bharautes are going to have trouble. neither king nor maoist is going to save your life. so, don't lose it! just wait and see what will happen next.

Hmm For now Monarchy but after three years Constitutional Monarchy (Shree Panch le Je Hukum bha ko cha) Here is why.. ------------------ It said a Royal Commission would be constituted "within 15 days" to investigate corruption while arrangements would be made "of an effective punishment system to bring delays, favouritism, nepotism and bribery to an end". The government would also accelerate the process of decentralisation by gradually according villages political, economic, social, administrative and semi-judicial powers, the report said. The government would set up a land bank and make "judicious distribution of land" to squatters, the landless, peasants and freed bonded labourers. A long-term programme would be instituted to modernise farming, implement irrigation schemes and boost the production of horticulture, cash crops and livestock. The government also had plans to develop tourism and provide free education to a percentage of needy students. It would launch housing schemes "to narrow the existing gap between the rich and the poor in Kathmandu and other big and small cities." Jobs would be created for those "who have suffered from terrorism and also those who had gone astray by following the path of violence but have shunned violence or are willing to return to normal lives", the report said. --------------------- Shree Pashupatinath le Hamro rachya garun. Jai Nepal

DcKeta....I highly doubt if there ever will be a Constitutional Monarchy, but we shall see. You can already see how they are chnaging their tune about holding an election ( It will not happen until rebel gives up and you know better how revolutionary ppl act and think) >>>>> Nepal would be something similar to what former Burma and Bhutan is now. As far as all these plans,....I have seen many of these before .... He talks about crubing corruptions, but then again, it was just about the same during panchayat.....To name a few.....D.B. lama, Hem Bdr Malla, Deepak bohara.........>> What about these two new minister....Mr. panday and Mr. Shahi>>> They both have proven to be corrupt.

One should not set limit to his/her options. There outta be other options rather than simply picking mao or mon. The way I see both are extrimist and I favor neither, however, pp of nepal have lived under shah family for, god knows how many years.....and what have they done other than to fullfill their personal goals. This thing many/might have resolved only if Gyane had agreed to sit in with deuba's gov, mao and UN. But he did not wanted UN to get involved. .........there is nothing wrong seeking for advice/assistance is u r incompetence of handling certain situation. Afterall, Nepal had never had any shame begging for monetary grants.

those who follow the maoFUKINGbaadis are terrorists... those who follow this king are opportunistic and selfish people... i think nepal needs sumone like bob marley to be our leader....i would rather have a nation where everyone smoked weed and built friendships, than have a nation which allways faced blood-shed to find the right leader... go ganja, bob marley, jindabaad!
