I'd like to pay my last respect to Amrit Medhasi, one of my junior at Birendra Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalay who was killed in an encounter with Maoists insurgents three days ago in Arghakhachi. May his soul rest in peace.

I can't remember much, but was he a Green Color guy? I think I know him well, but ... like I said, can't exactly tell, it's been an awefully long time! Yes, an ardent Salute from ex-bsams!

My condolences as well. Though I might have graduated already and do not remember him much but a lot of the BSAM products are going to the Army and serving their Motherland. Good luck to them and salute to what they are doing for the cause of all of our Nepali brothers and sisters. They are doing an excellent job, a lot of them serving in the dangerous part of Maobadi areas and are doing it superbly. My hats off to my friends and to all BSAM's. Thank you for what you are doing! Thanks you very much.

May his soul rest in peace. I hope he could have lived long enough to enjoy what's there in this world. I hope someday we can all pray for him (and many others who have sacrificed their lives) in peace. I myself have lost some of my friends in this damn war.... i may not know how it feels to bear the pain his family is undergoing. but it does feel lonely coz you know you have lesser frens now and that someone you wanted to share your experience with in the future too, is all of a sudden not present... forever. No matter what, peace should prevail and peace does prevail in the end.

Just came upon this posting today. Its so sad that so many of our brothers and sisters are becoming victims of this maoist plague in Nepal. My condolences goes to the bereaved family of Amrit Medhasi. A very good childhood friend of mine (also BSAM product) was killed in a friendly fire incident during this war with maoists.

A guy with great aspirations and a great personality. Can't deny that I had a crush on him once. It's really sad to find out that he's no longer with us anymore. Nakkali Kanchhi
