I need to ship a basket full of stuff to Des Moines, I am not sure how much shipping would cost me provided that its a very heavy load, if anyone is travelling let me know and I would pay.

Use USPS baggage ship service or Greyhound cargo service. They are generally not that expensive.

USPS, priority mail has weight limits so you can put as much as the box will take. You can also calculate postage on the USPS website and see how much your shipping will be. Another option is uship bidding. I've had multiple boxes shipped this way. Private drivers or companies will take a box and ship to an address.
