Hello guys, I just need some thought here. I am in QA job for last 6 months. At my work they have a new stuff going, where you can be a developer trainee. More like a intern where they will teach you from scratch and at the same time they will make you work. So they pay you as well around 15 dollar an hour. One of the manager has asked us if somebody want to join the program. It is like a year program. My QA job finishes in a week. I was wondering if I should jump to the developing career. I am not from IT field and like I said I am still new to QA as well. Is it worth going to developing side. I am still not perfect with QA, how hard it is to be a developer. thanks for any input.

I don't know do your resume not say you got about 7 years experience as qa tester.Do you think a qa with that many years of experience should go for a trainee position? Just a thought. If no problem,go for it. I know once you get in they forget everything about you, all they want is their work be done.

I think you should go for developer. This is a very good opprotunity as they will be giving you training and paying at the same time. Opportunities like this doesnt come often. And you should know that QA job is very hard to find as there are so many QA people in market.
In a year you will leard alot and no problem finding next job as well.
peace:)
