I am only few months away from sending my I-485 package(DV 2014). I am in US and applying as single. However, I have my girlfriend in nepal and we have been together for 4 years and counting.I want to file for her too as my wife but that is not possible since we are not married yet. so is it possible to get married online and produce the court papers so that we both can file together? does the court in nepal give marriage certificate without me being physically present there? I don't know if it's a weird or a dumb question but i'm looking for all options. so anyone with some suggestions please?

Trollaert, If you can not go out of US at all, this will not work but if you can go up to India, this should do. based on one of my friends who got married in New Delhi 4 months ago: you can go to India, ask your gf to come and get married there in a temple (make sure the temple provides a marriage certificate in English letter pad. There are many temples which provide such cert). After that, your wife can go back to Nepal and you can come back to US. Then your wife will need to go to your WADA KARYALAYA, submit the marriage certificate obtained from Indian Temple. The WADA office should issue a marriage cert. based on the cert she present. If they hesitate, that mean they wants something....give them some GHUSH..5-10 Hajar then they will issue a marriage cert based on the certificate she presents from the temple. They will mention that that marriage took place in, India. Have her mail the marriage certificate along with the original certificate from the Indian temple. Submit both to USCIS and you are all set. Good Luck.
