कोरिया जान नपाएका यूवाहरुद्वारा आन्दोलनको चेतावनी .....................

काठमाडौं–११, असार । दक्षिण कोरियामा रोजगारीमा जानका लागि लिइने भाषा परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण भएर पनि कोरिया जान नपाएका यूवाहरुले सरकारले आफूहरुका मागको सुनुवाईका लागी पहल नगरेको भन्दै आन्दोलनको चेतावनी दिएका छन् ।
सन् २०११ मा लिईएको भाषा परीक्षामा १५ हजार ६ सय यूवाहरु उत्तीर्ण भएकामा सरकारले पहल नगर्दा ८ हजार मात्र कोरिया जान पाएको र बांकी ७ हजार ६ सय अलपत्र परेको उनीहरुको गुनासो छ । मंगलबार रिपोर्टर्स क्लब नेपालमा पत्रकार सम्मेलन गरेर उनीहरुले सरकारले कुटनीतिक पहल नगरेको कारण आफूहरु कोरिया जान नपाएको आरोप लगाए ।
उनीहरुले सन् २०११ मा भएको परीक्षामा उत्तीर्ण भएका आफूहरु कोरिया जान नपाईरहेको अवस्थामा सरकारले फेरि ८ हजार २ सयको नयाँ परीक्षा लिने तयारी गरेपछि ठगिएको महसुस भएको बताएका छन् ।
उनीहरुले भाषा परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण गरेर पनि कोरिया जान नपाएकालाई नयां उत्तीर्ण हुने संख्यामा समावेश गराईनु पर्ने, आफूहरुलाई कोरिया पठाउन पहल गर्नु पर्ने लगायतका माग गरेका छन् ।
दक्षिण कोरिया नेपाली कामदारको लागी सबै भन्दा आर्कषक गन्तब्य स्थल मानिएको छ .

Let me ask you this. Have you heard from each individual who has gone to Korea and other places for employment? Have you heard each of them bragging? Then why are you giving the whole group a bad name?

You might have few relatives back home, if not your whole family. Remittance money contributes to 20-30% of Nepali GDP, so one can deduct that 1/5 Government operating budget could come from remittance (math is not as straight forward ofcourse, but in a ballpark). You can make a point that this is one sector that has been a boon to the country, why are we hating the contributors of this sector?

Let's look at it from the other angle. What are they complaining about? Their complain seems logical to me; you already gave the exam and showed your proficiency, why then you have to do it again? Say you took a midterm test and even got good grades. Now the school says you have to take the test again after few months for no reason. Wouldn't you be mad? Now multiply this scenario by 10 times where livelihood of somebody is involved.

Okay, I went on a lengthy rant, but I just wish we stop blaming the working class. Give them a break even when they are bragging, they are the biggest contributor to the country and deserve a better treatment from the country.
